Prices shown on this site are in GBP. All prices and offers remain valid as advertised from time to time. There is also a travel charge of 50p per mile to location and back.
For all overseas bookings, travel charges will apply (i.e. flight booking costs and transfers)
Once you have made your booking and it has been placed you will receive an email confirming the booking, time, location and confirmation booking forms and a trial booking form. Please respond to this mail as soon as possible.
Cancellation Policy
Please note there is a cancellation policy of 2 days before trial date otherwise a £50 fee will be charged, NON-Refundable. Once the wedding is booked after the trial, there are no refunds possible unless due to an illness by Melissa Melody then only wedding day funds previously paid will be re-imbursed.she will do her up most to find you another make up artist/hair stylist . Please note that this does not include the trial fees, which had previously be paid .A £50 deposit, has to be paid up front before the trial.
There is a non- refundable deposit if a wedding is cancelled before the trial date and after.
Melissa Melody may refuse to process bookings if they have previously cancelled opportunities more than 3x times before.
Shopping within the site
To help ensure that your shopping experience with in the site is safe, simple and secure, please email me over your orders on line or give me a call to place your orders. There is a postage charge, depending on the size of the order. We cannot be liable for any loss you may suffer if there is a postage fault.
You have the right to cancel orders from 4 days notice only. If you need to return products /goods an exchange is only possible and the items have to be un opened and undamaged.
Payments can be made on line or cheques made out to Melissa Hardingham, please be aware that you would have to wait at least 7 days for the cheque to clear before anything can be dispatched out to you.

If payments are required for your wedding day most brides decide to pay all upfront at the trial or 1 week before the wedding day – or the wedding day itself – what ever is easiest option for you. Please note trial fees are always paid on the trial day including travel as well, then a deposit is to be left for the wedding day.

WHEN WILL YOU RESPOND TO THE ENQUIRY?
•Answer- I will respond to your enquiry within 24 hours notice.
•HOW MUCH ARE THE COSTS ?
•Answer- all the costs are clearly displayed on the website or please contact Melissa Melody.
•ARE YOU AVALIBLE AT SHORT NOTICE ?
•Answer- sometimes there are last minute bookings available but obviously for weddings or special occasions, it makes sense to book in advance as I get booked up very quickly.
•HOW SOON BEFORE THE SPECIAL OCCASION DO CLIENTS USUALLY GET IN TOUCH WITH YOU?
•Answer- most clients, especially brides to be, book at least 4-5 months before the special day; this allows plenty of time for trials.
•HOW LONG WILL THE TRIAL LAST?
•Answer- normally trials last around 2 hours - 30 minutes.
•WHAT TIME DO YOU ARRIVE ON THE DAY?
•Answer- I can arrive as early as you will need me on the day.
•DO YOU WORK ON OTHER MEMBERS OF THE BRIDAL PARTY?
•Answer- yes, bridesmaids, mother of bride, flower girls etc.
•DO YOU WORK ON LITTLE CHILDREN AND WHAT ARE THE COSTS?
•Answer- yes I work on flower girls; prices vary depending on age and length of hair. I normally do child prices from the age of 10 and below.
•CAN I PURCHASE MAKE UP / PRODUCTS FOR MY SPECIAL DAY FROM YOU?
•Answer- yes I can get all the products you will need for your wedding day or special occasion.
•HOW WILL I KNOW YOU WILL ATTEND THE DAY?
•Answer-I will attend the day as promised; if due to a sickness I cannot attend (and this has not happened in 10 years now), I will do my upmost to find another artist for you.
•HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE ON THE SPECIAL DAY?
•Answer- normally around 4-5 people.
